The CodeADX Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) discloses what information we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to protect it in the course of providing the Services and operating the CodeADX Platform. This Privacy Policy is a disclosure and not an agreement. It may be modified by CodeADX at any time. We will disclose the fact that changes have been made by updating the date in the upper right-hand corner of the front page to indicate the date of the latest revision. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services and the CodeADX Platform. Capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy without definition have the meanings assigned to them in the most recent update to the CodeADX Terms & Conditions.

Information Collected from Content Creators

•    Personal Information: We collect information such as your name, email address, and contact information when you sign up for the CodeADX marketplace. This information is used to communicate with you about your account and the services we provide. It is also used to comply with legal requirements or enforce our rights.

•    Content Information: We collect information about the content you upload to the CodeADX platform, such as text, images, and videos. This information is used to display your content to potential Advertisers and to promote your services. We may use your content information to promote your services to potential Advertisers and to showcase your content on the CodeADX Platform. 

•    To create a profile for each Content Creator, CodeADX collects various information feeds such as RSS feeds, YouTube feeds, and other social media feeds. The information collected is used to build a comprehensive profile of the content creator, allowing them to showcase their work and connect with potential advertisers. The information collected may include personal information such as name, email, social media handles, and other relevant information related to the content creator's work.

Information Collected from Advertisers

•    Personal Information: We collect information such as your name, email address, and contact information when you sign up for the CodeADX marketplace. This information is used to communicate with you about your account and the services we provide. It is also used to comply with legal requirements or enforce our rights.

•    Payment Information: We use Stripe to collect payment information such as your credit card number billing information, and or bank account information when you agree to promotional services from Content Creators through the CodeADX platform. This information is used to process your payment and to ensure the security of your financial information.  

Personal Data We Receive from Your Use of the Service

When you use the CodeADX Platform, we may automatically collect certain personal data about your use of the Services. This personal data may include:

•    Device Information: We may collect information about the device you are using to access the Service, including the type of device, operating system, and browser type.

•    Log Information: We may collect log information about your use of the Service, including the type of browser you are using, access times, pages viewed, and your IP address.

•    Usage Information: We may collect information about your use of the Service, including the content you view, your search queries, and the types of advertisements you interact with.

•    Location Information: We may collect information about your location when you use the Service, including your IP address or other information that may be used to approximate your location.

We use this personal data to improve our services, to analyze trends, to administer the Service, and to personalize your experience. We may also use this personal data to comply with legal obligations, such as to prevent fraud or to ensure the security of our systems.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect this personal data. You may adjust your browser settings to disable cookies and some similar technologies. Please note that by disabling cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the Service and other features may not operate to their fullest potential.

Information Collected from Shopify Stores

CodeADX utilizes the Shopify API to retrieve specific information from Shopify stores to facilitate its services. The following data is collected from Shopify Stores:

1. Read_Orders: CodeADX accesses order-related information, including order details, and transaction history. This data enables the tracking and processing of orders, calculation of commissions, and accurate payment to content creators.
2. Read_Checkouts: CodeADX retrieves checkout data, such as discount code, and applied discounts. This information enables us to calculate commission payments to content creators.
3. Read_Products: CodeADX collects product information, including product names, descriptions, prices. This data is necessary for promoting and selling products through the CodeADX platform.
4. Read_Discounts: CodeADX accesses discount-related data, such as discount codes, pricing rules, and promotions. This information enables the us to list the products that can be promoted.
5. Write_Discounts: CodeADX has the ability to create and manage discounts within Shopify Stores. This functionality allows for the seamless execution of promotional campaigns.
6. Read_Price_Rules: CodeADX retrieves price rule information, including pricing strategies and rules set by the Shopify store This data assists in determining the appropriate pricing and commission structures.

Data Privacy and Security
CodeADX is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the collected data. We implement industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of the information. We adhere to applicable data protection laws and regulations.

The data collected from Shopify stores is used exclusively for the purpose of providing the CodeADX services and facilitating the agreed-upon transactions between Shopify Stores and Content Creators. We do not share this data with third parties unless required to fulfill our obligations or as permitted by applicable laws.

Data Retention
CodeADX retains the collected data from Shopify stores only for as long as necessary to fulfill the intended purposes or as required by law. Once the data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted or anonymized to protect individual privacy.

By using the CodeADX services and connecting your Shopify store, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your store data as described in this section.

Information Collected by our Payments Processor

CodeADX uses a third-party payment processor to process credit and other payment transactions. Our current processor is Stripe, but we may change processors at any time and update this Privacy Policy to reflect that change. 

Both Advertisers and Content Creators are required to set up a Stripe account to receive and make payments through the CodeADX Platform pursuant to separate agreements with Stripe. CodeADX keeps on its servers the Stripe account number associated with each Advertiser and Content Creator. This information is used to facilitate the payment process between Advertisers and Content Creators.

Advertiser payment information, including credit/debit card numbers, billing and bank account information, is collected and stored by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy and terms of service. Content Creator banking information is collected and stored by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy and terms of service.  CodeADX does not collect or store Advertisers payment information or Content Creators banking information on its servers and is not responsible for compliance by Stripe with Stripe’s privacy policy or terms of service.

Information Collected by Google Analytics; Information Sharing with Google

In addition to the information collection and usage outlined above, CodeADX uses Google Analytics to collect data about how users interact with the Services and the CodeADX Platform. This includes information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view on our website, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to improve our website and better understand our users' needs. Google Analytics may also use cookies to collect this information. You can learn more about Google Analytics and how it collects and processes data by visiting their website.

You may opt-out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser settings to disable cookies. Opting out of Google Analyticsmay result in certain features of our website not operating at all or not operating to their fullest potential.

We may share information collected through Google Analytics with Google to improve their services and products, including but not limited to Google Analytics. This information is shared in an aggregated and anonymized form that we believe does not personally identify any individual user.

Information Collected from Third Parties

In addition to the information collection and usage above, we may receive information from third-party sources such as social media platforms, other service providers, and Stripe. This information may include personal information, payment information, content information, or other relevant information related to the Content Creators or Advertisers.

We may use this third-party provided information to enhance our services and to better understand our users' needs. We may also use this information to verify the accuracy of the information provided by Content Creators or Advertisers, to detect and prevent fraudulent or suspicious activities or to comply with law or enforce our rights.

We do not share this information with any third parties unless it is necessary to provide our services or as required by law or to enforce our rights.

Information Collected by Stripe

Stripe, our third-party payment processor, will also collect and process payment information on behalf of our Advertisers and Content Creators. Stripe's use of this information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy, their terms of service and applicable laws. 

Information Sharing

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our services, but only for the purpose of providing those services.

We may share content information collected from Content Creators with Advertisers who have expressed an interest in purchasing your services.

We may share payment information from Advertisers with our third-party payment processor (Stripe) to process Content Creator Fees.

Data Security

We take what we believe are appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include implementing secure servers, encrypting sensitive information, and monitoring our systems for security vulnerabilities.

Your California Privacy Rights

Personal Information We Collect about California Consumers

Personal information we collect from you is described above.  It includes identifiers such as name, physical address, email address, username, password and other credentials used to access the Services, social media handles, and, when you visit our websites, use our apps or interact with CodeADX-related tools, widgets or plug-ins, Internet Protocol address and unique device identifier.

Disclosures of Personal Information for Monetary or Other Valuable Consideration or for Business Purposes

We do not disclose Personal Information we collect or receive about you for monetary or other valuable consideration except as follows: As is common practice among businesses that operate Internet Web sites, we may also have disclosed certain identifiers, information about the use of our websites and apps, and inferences drawn about you to our social media, advertising, and analytics partners for monetary or other valuable consideration. These disclosures may qualify as “sales” of personal information for consideration or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.

Please note if you have requested a service that requires the use of your personal information, we may not be able to provide that service if you choose to delete your personal information.

You have the right to opt out of the disclosure of personal information about you for monetary or other valuable consideration, the sharing of personal information about you for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, and profiling. Verification Process

For requests made in connection with the Right to Know, Right to Correct, and/or Right to Delete, please note: As required or permitted under applicable law, we may take steps to verify your request before we can provide personal information to you, correct or delete personal information, or otherwise process your request.  To verify your request, we may require you to provide your name, physical address, email address, contact information, and information about your account or previous transactions with us. If we believe we need further information to verify your request as required by law, we may ask you to provide additional information to us.

We will deliver personal information that we are required by law to disclose to you in the manner required by law within 45 days after receipt of a request, unless we notify you that we require additional time to respond, in which case we will respond within such additional period of time required by law. We may deliver the personal information to you through your account, or electronically or by mail at your option. If electronically, then we will deliver the information to you or, at your request, to another entity, in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format that allows you to transmit the information from one entity to another without hindrance.

If you believe that we have not complied with your rights under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Nondiscrimination

We may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the foregoing privacy rights, or any other rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including by:

• Denying you goods or services;
• Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
• Providing you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
• Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

We may, however, charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to CodeADX by your personal information. We may limit our response to your exercise of rights as permitted by law.

Agent Authorization

You may designate an authorized agent to request any of the above rights on your behalf. Even if you choose to use an agent, we may, as permitted by law, require:

• The authorized agent to provide proof that you provided signed permission to the authorized agent to submit the request;
• You to verify your identity directly with us; or
• You to directly confirm with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.

Data Retention

Your personal information will not be stored for longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or as required under applicable retention policies and/or in accordance with applicable law.  Our retention policies reflect local statute of limitation periods and national statutory obligations of CodeADX.
